Take a tour →Why we publish these tools
Most steel-building decisions are made weeks before a fabricator is called — when a consultant is sizing foundations, an architect is checking whether a 40 m clear span is realistic, or a procurement team is shortlisting vendors. These tools put the numbers we work with every day in front of you at that stage: the IS 875 and IS 1893 parameters that drive the design, the kg/m² we have actually delivered on crane sheds and curved-roof buildings, and the site conditions that keep an erection programme on schedule.
Every calculator states its assumptions and lets you change them. None of them replaces a structural design — when you are ready for one, each tool ends with a route to our engineering team, who return a preliminary frame scheme and tonnage within 24–48 hours.
Built on delivered work
The benchmarks come from 20,000+ MT of delivery experience across process buildings, heavy-crane workshops, curved raw-material sheds, warehouses and institutional frames — including a 17,289 m² multi-span PEB complex with 25 + 10 MT EOT cranes at 81.3 kg/m², three curved-roof buildings with a 93.8 m clear span at 55.7–63.4 kg/m², and a 24.7 m clear-span hangar at 68.8 kg/m².
